I designed the posters this year! If you’re in Cleveland, check out the show Nov. 14 - Jan. 9
I learned how to make animated gifs today! My first attempt...
This one's for the article 'Going Fallow' about leaving the garden unplanted for a season.
Guess who I am thoroughly excited to vote for this November?! Let's elect the most qualified candidate we've seen in recent history and break that glass ceiling while we're at it!
Here are some photos from my current gallery show at the American Greetings corporate gallery. It's a collection of paintings on canvas and paper collage, with a few corrugated-cardboard sculptures thrown in. What a great space to show the work I've been doing over the last few months! Click through the gallery to check it out:
'You Are Enough' is 32 pages of artwork and writing by Richard Faust including inspiring quotes from writers and philosophers. It's full of beautifully illustrated messages about self-acceptance and overcoming obstacles. It's printed on ivory paper with a cover printed on heavy cover-stock, the size is 8.5 in x 8.5 in.
Here's the sketch and illustration I did for Southbound Magazine, (Fall+Winter 2015) to illustrate the 30A Songwriters Festival.
Just got this issue in the mail! For an article entitled 'Tactics For A Hot Housing Market'.
This limited edition baby card collection is in stores now! (Look for them wherever American Greetings cards are sold)
Wow! The editor at Better Homes and Gardens Diabetic Living magazine, Martha Miller Johnson, decided to write about me in the Spring issue. They're great to work with and I learn so much from the magazine and online (DiabeticLivingOnline.com).

These are at registers at every store for the next two years. So exciting!
People really responded to these on social media, so I added them to my 'Journal' portfolio page.
Please mark your calendars and come to the opening reception for my show! It will be the last exhibit of paintings that I'll be doing for a very long while. These days, I need to focus on the commercial work (one must make a living!). I'll have a variety of work from very large paintings to smaller mixed media collages. Jeffrey and Brandon have a beautiful store and they know how to throw a great opening bash! Opens Friday, November 7 from 7:00-10:00 at Urban Orchid in Little Italy. Hope you can make it!
